Recently, Healthy People 2020 (2019) addressed this with a framework identifying five key areas that can be utilized to develop strategies to create equal opportunity for all: 1) economic stability, 2) education, 3) social and community context, 4) health and health care, and 5) neighborhood and built environment. This approach requires common goals and community engagement.
