Committee on Governance (COG)

Purpose

The Committee on Governance (COG) is one of several advisory committees of the AHA Board of Trustees. The COG represents the AHA’s trustee members by participating in the AHA’s advocacy, policy and resource development. 

Hospital and system trustees who serves on the AHA Board are ex officio members of this committee.

Membership

The committee is composed of the chair-elect, chair, immediate past chair and 22 trustees representing all regions of the US.  

Meetings

The COG meets three times per year.
