Hospital trustees play a critical governance role in an increasingly complex and highly regulated health care environment. As volunteer or appointed leaders—often without clinical backgrounds—their educational needs center on building sufficient knowledge, of the elements of governance excellence, as well as the health care field. 

AHA’s Trustee Services provides the resources, education, and tools to help trustees oversee strategy, quality, stewardship and more without becoming involved in day-to-day management.
