On April 18, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued the fiscal year (FY) 2020 proposed rule for the skilled nursing facility (SNF) prospective payment system (PPS). Comments on the proposed rule are due to CMS by June 18. The final rule is expected around August 1 and will take effect October 1.
