Despite unprecedented challenges this year, hospitals and health systems can be proud of the job they do each and every day to care for our families, our friends and our neighbors.
The giving spirit of the holiday season is seen every day of the year in the care that hospitals provide. No one is turned away from their doors.
Caregivers support newborn babies and their families during the first moments of life. They provide compassionate care toward the end of a person’s life. And they are always there ready to care for so many moments in between.
On behalf of the entire AHA team, it is a privilege to represent our member hospitals and health systems all across the country. The AHA has worked alongside you throughout these trying times to ensure caregivers and hospitals have the critical resources and support they need to continue serving their patients and communities. And we’re not done yet. We’re working hard every day in Washington urging Congress to include in a year-end legislative package important priorities to ensure hospitals and health systems are able to continue their mission of caring. There’s still time for you to weigh in with your representative and senators to reinforce our message, and we’ve made it easy for you to do so.
