Patients Value Online Access to Electronic Health Records
A growing number of consumers are embracing electronic health records, and the significant boost in online access to health information may be increasing patient engagement in their care, according to findings from a study by the National Partnership for Women & Families. Connie Curran, R.N., Dies
Connie Curran, R.N., an advocate for nurse advancement and better patient care, died on Nov. 10 of cancer. Her multifaceted career included roles as the founding dean at the former Medical College of Wisconsin School of Nursing, chief nursing officer of Montefiore Medical Center and a vice president of the American Hospital Association as well as service on the boards of several Chicago-area hospitals, nonprofit organizations and corporations.
