• Half of all children in the U.S. will be nonwhite by 2020

• The majority of the population will be nonwhite by 2044

• 56.4% of the population will be nonwhite by 2060

• 2 million illnesses in the U.S. every year

• 23,000 deaths in the U.S. every year

• 37,000 lives could be saved over 5 years by preventing infections and improving antibiotic prescribing
