Youth violence is a significant public health problem that affects thousands of young people each day and in turn, their families, schools, and communities. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, youth violence can take different forms including fights, bullying, threats with weapons, and gang-related violence.

Home Health PPS
The Balanced Budget Act of 1997, as amended by the Omnibus Consolidated and Emergency Supplemental Appropriations Act (OCESAA) of 1999, called for the development and implementation of a prospective payment system (PPS) for Medicare home health services. The BBA put in place the interim payment system (IPS) until the PPS could be implemented.
