Committee on Governance

The Committee on Governance (COG) is one of four specialty committees of the AHA Board. The COG provides input into AHA’s policy development; leads effective trustee involvement in grassroots advocacy; enhances communication with and involvement of trustees in the AHA and provides advice on AHA’s trustee initiatives.

Hospital and system trustees who serve on the AHA board are ex officio members of this committee.
